Generative Video Motion Study
Exploratory study — no client, no published campaign.
Objective
Find out how far a generated clip can be pushed before camera motion breaks continuity.
Process
Generated 40 clips across four motion types, graded them to one palette, then cut them against each other to spot where continuity failed.
Prompt
Slow dolly through a rain-lit studio, anamorphic, muted orchid palette, no cuts.
Result
Continuity holds for slow lateral moves and collapses on anything with rotation. Grading to a single palette hid more artefacts than higher generation settings did.
Learning
I would lock the palette first next time and spend the budget on fewer, longer clips.
